Bonavero and Leigh Day Book Launch: Human Right Litigation against Multinationals in Practice

Leigh Day and the Bonavero Institute of Human Rights launched the book “Human Rights Litigation Against Multinationals in Practice” (Oxford University Press 2021). This book is edited by Richard Meeran, the Head of Leigh Day’s International Department and is authored by leading legal practitioners from around the world who specialise in the field.

The book provides reviews multinational human rights litigation predominantly on behalf of victims in the Global South, in the main countries where it has been pursued, namely the UK, South Africa, Canada, Australia, the US, the Netherlands, France, and Germany.

The event will feature a roundtable discussion with the authors, who have been involved in many of the key cases in these countries, and who will offer their perspectives and insights on the current state of play and some of the opportunities and challenges for the future.
