Serial Dilutions of a Bacterial Culture

My video will introduce the steps of diluting a bacterial culture with the goal of determining how many live bacteria are present in that culture. I explain how to perform a series of dilutions, reasons to plating these dilutions on rich agar media, and how to calculate the amount of bacteria per ml and total amount of bacteria in a culture.
