Inspired by musicians of Meanjin we have looked to them to capture the feel & sound of our unique sun-drenched, graffiti-filled, sticker-slapped hidden valley path to bring you HOME SLICE.

ABOUT THE ARTISTS
CANDELA VIVA are an exciting traditional Colombian cumbia Brisbane based ensemble playing the music of their homeland, carnival and in particular the coffee and sugar plantation region (Atlantico / Carribean / Pacifico Cumbia, Gaita, Palenque, Porro, Puya, Currulao, Mapalé and more!)
Traditional flutes (‘Gaitas’) combine with raw afro-latin percussion, clarinet and electrifying singing and rhythms that form the sounds of one of South America’s (and the world’s) biggest and best carnivals - Barranquilla - Colombia.
