Put Call Ration (also known as PCR) is a contrarian indicator which is commonly used to help traders determine if the market is getting overly bullish or too bearish. The value is calculated as Put Volume / Call Volume or Put Open Interest / Call Open Interest. PCR trend is studied in conjunction with stock trend to determine how position ARE being built and carried. In this video we have explained in detail what is open interest (OI) and Put Call Ratio.
