Burnout in a Work-Obsessed Culture
The World Health Organization recently added burnout to its classification of diseases as an occupational phenomenon. Burnout is not new, of course, but it's more widespread than ever and hitting people of every generation. The Agenda discusses this with Rahaf Harfoush, author of "Hustle & Float: Reclaim Your Creativity and Thrive in a World Obsessed with Work;" and Dr. Katy Kamkar, clinical psychologist with the Work, Stress and Health Program at CAMH.
