Titanic's early design - how did it change?
On July 29, 1908, a party of four White Star Line directors were presented a detailed blueprint for an exciting new series of ships to be constructed by Harland and Wolff shipyard in Belfast. This blueprint - known as the 'Design D' concept - would lay the foundation for what would become the Olympic, Titanic and Britannic.
in this video I review some of the key changes that were implemented to the design - and one that was re-instated for the final liner.
