Is a 17 year old CUMMINS worth this much MONEY!? This video goes over the amount of money that has been put into my 2001 24 valve cummins. The video covers things like repairs and maintenance to horsepower mods and so on. The point of this video is not to "brag" about how much can be spent on a truck build but to inform people who want to build a truck that doing so can get expensive quickly and cost a lot of money. Maintaining any diesel truck can be pricey for things like tie rods, radiator, water pump,shocks, brakes, etc.. and then you throw in some performance and visual parts like a tuner (edge comp box), 4 inch straight pipe exhaust, cold air intake, turbo upgrade, fass platinum 150, glowshift gauges,125hp injectors from diesel auto power and the list goes on, but it increases your total costs significantly. I hope you enjoyed this video about how much money has been spent on a 17 year old 24 valve cummins so far because we aren't even done yet and still have repairs and mods coming to the cummins soon. hx35 turbo upgrade to get rid of stock turbo, vp44 injection pump just to name a couple things.
