Scarlett Johansson battles dinosaurs in new Jurassic World: Rebirth trailer

In Jurassic World: Rebirth, Scarlett Johansson stars as covert ops expert Zora Bennett, leading a high-stakes mission to a remote island inhabited by the last surviving dinosaurs. Set five years after Jurassic World: Dominion, the seventh installment features Mahershala Ali as combat expert Duncan Kincaid and Jonathan Bailey as paleontologist Dr. Henry Loomis. The trio seeks dinosaur DNA to develop a revolutionary drug, but the island, once home to the original Jurassic Park facility, is full of deadly experiments gone wrong. “The theme park owners did experimental work, leaving only the worst ones here,” Bennett warns. Their mission becomes more complicated when they encounter the Delgado family, civilians caught in the chaos. Facing Mosasaurus attacks and dense, dangerous terrain, the group fights for survival. Bennett even risks herself as bait to protect the others. Directed by Gareth Edwards with a script by David Koepp and executive produced by Steven Spielberg, the film hits theaters July 2.
