Happy days as I get behind the wheel of a 1977 Austin Maxi 1750, that is slightly older than myself. Join me as I discuss the joys of beige vinyl, hydrolastic suspension and a transverse engine with the gearbox below it. There's even a hatchback and a five-speed gearbox and thankfully little in the way of iffy build quality and 1970s unions.
