Closeups Of Debris In E23's Eye! Pin Feathers & Clown Feet! M w/ Rabbit E23 Bonks Mom & Dad 1.12.24

In regards to E23's left eye, there appears to be some debris caught in it. The eye itself looks fine - the debris is on the outer corner. The SWFEC chat banner added" For viewers concerned about E23's eye: On Wednesday, E23 was rubbing its left eye a lot and it was after M15 was defurring the rabbit and E23 had been hit in the face with some fur. I think this close up shows a strand or two of rabbit hair that was causing E23 to "itch" its left eye. I did not see E23 rubbing it's eye last night but will keep an "eye" on it later today when I'm on. We will continue to keep an eye on it.
At 3:05:15pm, close ups of E23’s left eye. Looks like natural material from the nest in E23’s eye. Material was flapping in the wind. We will be watching E23’s eye closely."

The video opens with E23 sitting up and moving around and we see a lot of big yellow clown feet now and a huge crop! M15 brings in a rabbit and F23 mantles it. The rabbit gets caught on the rails - M15 heads to the attic. E23 is in a food coma at this time so we get some closeups of E23's dark 2nd coat of thermal down and pin feather emerging. We also get closeups of E23's left eye with what looks like nesting material and also a piece of feather that flaps in the wind. It is not uncommon for chicks to get stuff in their eyes since they are so close to the materials in the nest and come in contact with food.

We have more great closeups of the pin feathers on E23 & showing how big of a chick E23 has become. M15 arrives with grasses and puts some on E23 and spreads the rest. E23 does try to bonk Dad lol Then F23 arrives with a big clump of grasses/hay. E23 does another PS and waits for a feeding. F23 goes to get the rabbit and pulls it towards her - that touched E23 and caused E23 to bonk Mom twice lol 😂

E23 now has PS'd on Mom and bonked her and Dad. What is next? lol 😂

F23 does begin a short feeding of the rabbit for E23 and then broods. Thank you for watching!
