Convention Center - Super Sctructure Transport Project

Emmert International was contracted for the transport of the Super Structure Components for an expansion of the George R. Brown Convention Center in Downtown Houston, TX. This expansion of the convention center was required for the city to get the rights to Super Bowl 38, transportation of these components was from one of the local Houston Ports. Total cargo weight: 14,000,000 lbs over 42 weeks of transporting; largest component: 110' x 52' 6" x 9' 2" x 351,000 lbs.
