Oyster Farming in the South
How do farmers grow oysters for the half shell market? This video provides scenes from oyster farms in the southeast Atlantic coast and the Gulf of Mexico coast to demonstrate how oysters are grown for restaurants and to provide background of the diversity of flavors available for consumption. The video is instructional and captures the story of a farmed oyster from spawn to plate.
