Leaves vs Coils? Yep, we’re back to Landcruiser Park as the testing for Milo 2 steps up. Now we’ve got the new Terrain Tamer winch bolted to the X-Rox bar and a whole new kit of XTM recovery gear to trial, we needed to find some tough terrain. It had been raining at the Park for the previous fortnight and there was plenty of water lying just under the surface waiting to soak up and cause havoc with the clay. So with Rav Ridge being pretty much un-driven for a while we figured it’s all come together.

My mate Richard from SMART Automotive Solutions came along to play too but it was his coil sprung 105 Series that really showed it’s metal in these conditions. Also along for the ride is the Handbrake and her father the old sea dog Graham. Plenty of people involved and a great camp but pretty quickly this turned into a fight out for the technology stakes once we got stuck into the driving - leaves versus coils!
