Child Welfare Unfair for First Nations
The recent Canadian Human Rights Tribunal decision states that the Canadian government discriminated against First Nations children and families through its inequitable child welfare services. Since many of those services are delivered at the provincial level, Pam Palmater, chair in Indigenous Governance at Ryerson University discusses how the ruling will impact Ontario.
