Indigenous Over-Incarceration
Last fall, Ontario's Independent Advisor on Corrections Reform issued the second of two detailed reports recommending fundamental change of the how province runs its prison system. One of the points he flagged for action was the over-representation of Indigenous people in the system. The Agenda discusses the reason for this and possible solutions.
