Venting a badly installed cold flat roof using abutment vents and mushroom vents.

This roof is a cold roof and a warm roof together! Both the warm roof and the cold roof are not installed correctly. The warm roof has no vapour control layer (VCL). The cold roof has no venting. The roof has rotted in places and we have had to cut out the rotted sections and replace them. Now we have added the abutment vents and mushroom vents. Venting a badly installed cold flat roof using abutment vents and mushroom vents was the only way of trying to save this roof. Only time will tell if it will work. We also replaced the coping stones to the parapet walls but don't show this in this video. Going back to the abutment vent on the cold roof part of this flat roof. We need to have a flow of air from the front to the rear, or side to side, and to gain this we have also installed mushroom vents on to the flat roof.
