Rolling back the years to eight days in Nepal, paragliding around Pokhara and exploring Kathmandu. After a couple of days flying the local sites, I enjoyed a three day para-trek guided by Sano Babu Sunuwar who, along with Lakpa Tsheri Sherpa made the first tandem flight to reach 8,400m after launching from the summit of Everest. https://xcmag.com/news/babu-sunuwar-flies-off-everest/

Unfortunately, there's not much in-flight footage in this video as I didn't have a GoPro and everything was captured on a hand-held compact digital camera.

Flying with the Annapurna Himalaya as a backdrop was something very special and it was a privilege to experience the culture and way of life of the Nepali people who are the friendliest and happiest folk I have ever met. Namaste 🙏
