Keith Jackson's WILD RIDE - Funny Car Chaos "In The Cornfield" | Drag Racing | Funny Cars

The opening pair of round one eliminations in the 'A' field at Central Illinois Dragway proved "Chaos in the Cornfield" to be the most appropriate reference to our time in Havana, IL!

Keith Jackson's Lakewood, Colorado based "High Heaven" N/FC goes up against the Michigan based "Detroit Tiger" alcohol burner of Steve Timoszyk. A parachute malfunction on Jackson's fuel flopper caused the car to use up some extra space in the shutdown, finally coming to a stop about 12 feet into the cornfield at the end of the track. Jackson and the car were thankfully both A-OK!
