The VIP Saddle Pad - What do we think of it?!
We must say a huge thanks to Equestrian Hire for sending us the VIP Saddle Pad to try on our ex Racehorses.
We thought we would try it on one of the lovely ex Racehorses we have with us called Shanty Town. Shanty has always been a bit cold backed when coming into work again so we gave him some time off ridden work and then produced a video over two consecutive days to see how he would react without and with the VIP Pad.
There was a definite improvement in him on the day he wore the VIP Pad. Shanty certainly was less cold backed and was showing a much more relaxed and longer stride!
As we say in the video, we weren't expecting miracles and to see Shanty completely change the first day he wore the pad but it was nice to see a good difference in him.
The brilliant thing about Equestrian Hire is that you can hire the VIP Saddle Pad for 3 weeks which gives you plenty of time to see for yourself if you and your horse do like it!
We are certainly keeping ours as we feel it will be very beneficial to the horses like Shanty and those that are just coming out of Racing and making that transition from Racehorse to Riding Horse.
Shanty Town was also ridden in the Micklem Multi Bridle and a Happy Tongue Loose Ring Bomber Bit both supplied by Equestrian Hire and available to ' try before you buy '!
