This piece began as a reflection on how much of our real voice gets buried under layers — masks, ego, expectations, learned behavior… the dense veil we call “self.”

The first half sits under that weight: heavy, fogged, almost mechanical in its movement.
But slowly, something underneath begins to rise.
A thread of intention.
The voice behind the mask.

In the second half, the Mother-32 and Strega carry that emergence — the buried essence pushing upward until it finally reaches open air.

This performance isn’t about polish.
It’s about surfacing.
