Trainz: A New Era - BLE SD38s and IC Deathstar SD70s on the Bessemer and Lake Erie September 2020

We're set up on the railfan favorite Bessemer & Lake Erie Railroad. Owned and operated by Canadian National since 2004, the line handles taconite ore pellets from ore docks in Conneaut Ohio to a suburb of Pittsburgh for interchange with the Union Railroad. Within the past 5 years or so, CN relocated most of the BLE SD40Ts and SD38s around their system for yard and local service. Ass replacements, CN has been using Illinois Central SD70s in their deathstar paint scheme. Most of the time trios of these classics will be seen pulling ore trains up and down the Bessemer Sub but a few BLE units still remain on the property, a sole SD40T-3 and four SD38 variants. We find ourselves spending a day trackside as we manage to capture two ore trains as well as a BLE local with two BLE units for power. Enjoy the video!
