Who is Connie Haines? A vibrant American vocalist best known for her solo work as well as her "canary" stints with the Harry James and Tommy Dorsey orchestras, respectively. She was also the featured song stylist on The Abbott & Costello radio program between 1942 and 1946. She lived to age 87 and was remarkably survived by her mother who died in 2010 at age 110!
Within the past year [2013/14] of this upload, the Estate of Connie Haines has inexplicably withdrawn her official website. This video happily increases her otherwise now marginal visibility online.
