Court Remands ‘Justice Crack’ in DSS Custody Over Alleged Cybercrime

The Federal High Court in Abuja has ordered the remand of Mark Chidiebere Justice, widely known as “Justice Crack,” in the custody of the Department of State Services over allegations of cybercrime, breach of public peace, and felony offences. The defendant pleaded not guilty to the three-count charge. Prosecutors argued for his detention on public security grounds, a request the court granted pending further proceedings. The case has drawn attention from rights advocates, raising questions about due process, detention powers, and the balance between national security and civil liberties. News Central’s Aishat Salihu reports, with reactions from rights activists Zekeri Idris and Princewill Ajiri-Odeh. Watch.
