Gunmen Abduct Dozens Of Pupils in Oyo School Raid

Fear has gripped communities in Oyo State after armed men reportedly abducted more than 45 pupils during coordinated attacks on three schools in Oriire Local Government Area. According to authorities, the attackers stormed the schools on motorcycles during morning classes, fired shots and fled into a forest reserve near the Old Oyo National Park axis with pupils and staff members. Emmanuel Ikule, Executive Director of Elixir Trust Foundation, joins the conversation.
