Winter Storm Nathaniel is continuing its trek East across the Midwest, reeking havoc on the morning rush hour commute. Several, major pileups shutdown interstate 94 at the Illinois/Wisconsin border just South of Kenosha for hours as traffic was diverted off to the severely snow covered country roads as a detour around the accidents. Snow plow armies, and local residents have been hard at work all morning trying to clear the drive ways and roadways of snow accumulation. Multiple other accidents occurred as a result of the abnormally heavy traffic being diverted. Accumulations of up to 5 inches have been observed.
