Excerpted from Pink Martini's live appearance on German television, from the JazzOpen Stuttgart festival, recorded on July 19, 2010. "Dosvedanya mio bombino" is an original single from Pink Martini's third studio album, "Hey Eugene," featuring vocalist China Forbes. The song was written by China Forbes and her sister, writer/director Maya Forbes, and imagines a love affair between a Russian and an Italian. The song ends with a section excerpted from the classic song "The Happy Wanderer" by Florenz Friedrich Sigismund and Friedrich-Wilhelm Möller.
