How To: Build Your Own Nail Polish Rack

This has been something I have wanted to do for a while now; make my own nail polish rack! The acrylic ones you can get are OK but I much prefer a nice wood rack. I think it looks much more classy. I had a good look around & I couldn't see where to buy one so I thought I'd make one myself!

-LIST OF WHAT YOU WILL NEED-

` 2 pieces of wood 79.7cm long by 1cm wide by 7cm deep. This is for the sides.
` 1 piece of wood 60.4cm long by 1cm wide by 7cm deep. This is for the top.
` 7 pieces of wood 58.4cm by 1cm wide by 7cm deep. This is for the shelves.
` 7 pieces of wood 60.4cm long by 1cm wide by 4.3cm deep. This is for the trim so the bottles don't fall out.
` A piece of plywood that is 60.9cm by 90.6cm.
` Wood glue. I chose exterior wood glue because I think exterior would be heaps stronger than interior and the stronger the better.
` Screws, you'll need around 28. Go for screws that are more on the thin side & long enough to screw into the second piece of wood.
` Tacks to attach the plywood. They are less likely to split the wood than screws.
` 21 thin, long nails to attach the trim to the shelves
` Your choice of colour of paint
` Paint brush
` A power drill & someone who knows how to work one!
