Eyewitnesses reported hearing loud thundering sounds as the hailstones fell, causing panic and fear among residents.

The hail damaged cars, shattered windows, and tore off roof tiles in several areas of the city. The storm also caused widespread power outages, leaving thousands of homes and businesses without electricity.
