Replacing a failed corrugated drainage system with solid PVC

In this video we replace a failed corrugated drainage system that is no longer carrying the water away. These systems use inferior corrugated pipe, which slows the water down and holds debris. This cheap pipe eventually clogs and allows water to flood into the foundation. At least half our jobs are replacing these failed systems.

We installed schedule 40 solid PVC pipe that is completely smooth inside. Any debris that enters the system is quickly flushed out by the next rain event. This pipe is glued together and holds up for decades against collapsing and root invasion.
