Smothered Pork Ribs

Ingredients;

1 Slab of Pork Ribs
Seasonings of Choice
1 Medium Onion
Kitchen Bouquet for color (optional)
Better Than Bouillon Chicken Paste (optional)
Flour for dredging + 3 Tbsp for gravy
5 - 7 cups of water

Directions
1. Wash ribs and cut into sections.
2. Season with your favorite seasonings.
3. Add about 1/2 cup of cooking oil to a large pot.
4. Dredge ribs in flour and to pot in batch. Do not over crowd. You want the ribs to brown really well and develop a nice crust. Repeat until all of the pieces have been browned off.
5. Remove remaining ribs and set aside. Add onions to pot and allow to cook for about 5 minutes.
6. Add flour and allow to cook for about 3 minutes to remove raw flour taste.
7. Add water and kitchen bouquet and allow to come to a slight boil.
8. Add ribs back to pot and cover. Let cook for 30 minutes on medium high heat.
9. After 30 minutes, check for thickness of gravy and seasonings. Add more seasonings and a flour slurry if desired.
10. Reduce heat to medium and allow to cook for an additional one hour. Once completely tender, serve hot over rice or mashed potatoes. Enjoy!
