SIMPLE AND EASY PEAR COBBLER

Ingredients;

5 - 7 Pears (Soft Pears) If using hard pears, boil first until slightly soft.
3 Pre-Made Pie Crust
1/2 Cup of Granulated Sugar
1/2 Cup of Light Brown Sugar
Cinnamon to taste (optional)
2 Tbsp of Cornstarch
2 Tsp of Vanilla Extract
1 Cup of Apple Juice

Directions
1. Peel and core pears and then add to a bowl. Leave in halves or cut into smaller pieces.
2. Add all other ingredients to the bowl and give a good mix until well combined.
3. Prepare a cast iron skillet or baking dish by buttering or spraying with baking spray.
4. Add one pie crust to the of the skillet.
5. Pour pear mixture into the skillet.
6. Cut remaining two pie crust into strips.
7. Place strips vertically and horizontally on top of the pear mixture.
8. Add pieces of butter to the top of the crust.
9. Sprinkle cinnamon and sugar over the top of the crust and bake on 350 for 30 - 40 minutes.
10. Once crust is golden brown and bubbling around the edges, it’s done. Remove from oven and let cool for 10 - 15 minutes before serving warm. With or without ice cream. Enjoy!
