SRI LANKA TRAVELS | Part Two - Kandy to Ella

Wow, Sri Lanka is absolutely incredible! Join us for the most beautiful views in Ella and to see the infamous Nine Arch bridge (so much more impressive in real life!) as well as the train journey to Ella. We planned to get the train the whole way from Kandy to Ella but seven+ hours was not appealing to us so we drove to Nuwara Eliya instead (a lovely part to see too - also known as Little England!) and got the train from there - still quite a long journey and absolutely freezing up in the mountains so don't wear what I wore - pack a jumper!! It was a good experience but definitely one that looks better on camera ha ha...

We stayed at 98 Acres in Ella - https://www.resort98acres.com/ - in a Grand Executive Suite which was a very special treat. We loved our room, private pool and view but have to say that we did not rate the food here very highly (hence why you never see dinner clips ha ha!) We were half board but would probably recommend going just with breakfast as the food was nowhere near as good as we had anywhere else on this trip. 98 Acres, however, does have the best views in Ella and is where you start the Mini Adam's Peak trek so could not be any more perfect in that respect!
