About The Author: Mr. Roney starting playing piano when he was four, and as a teenager he played in the high-school orchestra as a tympani player. Before long he started to play the acoustic guitar, harmonica, synthesizers, and even the banjo and the organ.

Mr. Roney met his first love at the age of 16, and wrote his first love song at the tender age of 17. Already heartbroken at 18, his first love ran off to have another man's baby.

"That pain became my teacher..." Mr. Roney explains, "...especially when it comes to Love and Respect and, a deeper sense of self love and self worth. It's those heartfelt lessons of Love, however painful they were, that ultimately shaped my life, which continues to give birth to the music I write today." he says.

"And I would not give back all the painful lessons of love and its hardships that life befell me, broken heart and all. For it's those painful lessons of Love and Respect that has made me all the wiser with each passing new day." says Mr. Roney.
