1962 Ocean Monarch NYC to Bermuda Cruise ~ Skyline Views, Shuffleboard & Scenic Island Arrival

Outside Pier 95 on 55th Street on the West side of Manhattan then on deck for a conversation overlooking the traffic on the elevated West Side Highway which was shut down in 1973 and dismantled by 1989.
A long departure and good views of the skyline of the West Side and lower Manhattan. We pass the liner the "Empress of England" who is being assisted by 2 tugs.
It's March and Blankets and woolies are in use on deck and a shuffleboard game is underway. Some time is spent on the upper deck with a good look at a smokestack and the lifeboats, choppy seas.
Arrival in Bermuda, cruise along the North Shore then past the islands in the Great Sound into Hamilton Harbor. The Hamilton Princess looks a bit dingey en route to docking on Front Street.
