ROASTED PORK KNUCKLE - GERMAN PORK HOCK - CRISPY PATA

Roasted Pork Knuckle

Pork Hock or Schweinshaxe is also known as German Pork Hock popular during the Oktoberfest in Germany. In Philippines we called it Crispy Pata. The cooking process is almost the same, the difference is we will cook it using an oven. This dish is one of a favorite dish partnered with steaming white rice or beer match (pulutan).

Ingredients:
1 kg Pork Hock or Pork Knuckle
1 tsp black peppercorns
4 bay leaves
1 large onion, peeled and quartered
2 Tbsp Salt
Seassoning
1 Clove Garlic

Rubbing mixture:
Paprika
Onion Powder
Garlic Powder
Black Pepper
Brown Sugar
