VisionFive 2 RISC-V SBC Upgrade Debian 202409 to 202510

StarFive released the October 2025 Debian Trixie image for the StarFive VisionFive 2 and VisionFive 2 Lite RISC-V SBCs.

I wasn't able to boot the new image on my VisionFive 2 v1.2a board.
So I had to do a manual upgrade from Debian 202409.

Download and execute the script update-debian-img.sh.
When you get the question if you want to replace /etc/default/u-boot, choose N. All the other questions about replacing scripts or configurations can be answered with Y.

After that I rebooted and continued with the procedure as shown in update-from-bookworm.png.
I changed step 4 to: sudo apt update && sudo apt dist-upgrade -y --allow-downgrades
Step 5 needs a small correction: sudo apt reinstall vf2-spl-uboot
