MY AMAZON PRODUCT REVEALED - Amazon FBA 2020

In this MUST SEE video, I reveal a real-world Amazon FBA product and explain how I developed it from start to finish.

YouTube Amazon FBA "Gurus" often release product research videos showing how to find products to sell on Amazon, however, they never show real product examples.

In this video, I also explain how I analyse a product niche, how to order samples from Alibaba, how to differentiate a product and stand out on Amazon and how to develop a private label product into a profitable product to sell on Amazon.

Amazon FBA product research can be quite tricky, however, it is extremely important as this is where every product journey begins!

We look at and analyse thousands of product niches looking to find a private label product that meets our specific FBA product criteria.

I like to find products where there are at least 10 sells achieving sales at or above the goals I am aiming for. Ideally, the sales should be well spread across the first page giving providing a wide landing zone for when the product is launched. The price point should be relevant to your budget and profit goals.

Despite common teachings, I don't believe high reviews are a reason to avoid a niche - this is especially true in the example in this video where there is wide design variation in the search results. With niches like this people will often choose there preferred design instead of the highest review score.

Before I order samples from Alibaba, I order a number of best selling products currently being sold on Amazon and also check their reviews for any common negative feedback. This usually provides a good starting point for product development. I also look at products being sold on other Amazon markets to look for ideas that are selling well elsewhere and could potentially sell well on my preferred Amazon marketplace.

With this information, I can then come up with a specification for the type of product I want to sell and then commence my search for suppliers on Alibaba. Usually the most important part of getting a sample is paying the postage so I usually get each supplier to send multiple samples in one package as this is a cost-effective way of getting lots of samples to test and compare.

Once I have tested all of the samples I then develop my final product specification and send it to the supplier for a final round of negotiating. If this goes well then I place the full order.
