About 100 of us were VIPs, which allowed early entry into the venue and we got to watch Angel Olsen’s soundcheck in addition to getting concessions and AF merchandise from the booths. We were also able to get in prime position to high-five the band as they made their boxing-style entrance through the crowd to the stage, which was nice.

The concert was originally scheduled for an earlier date, but it was pushed back to accommodate the NBA season opener for the Golden State Warriors at home. Win Butler recently won the MVP Award for the NBA Celebrity All-Star Game in Toronto in 2016, so I’m sure he didn’t mind making the move, lol.
