The Frost Music and Arts Festival, has been an annual event put on by the Stanford Concert Network since 2012. The Frost Amphitheater is currently being remodeled, so the event was held at Stanford Stadium. 2 student acts were featured (Son Kuma and Sister Supply), and student art exhibits were featured throughout the venue as well.

Ravyn: Can I give you guys some backstory? On why I wrote ‘Crush’ (Lenae’s latest EP, which was released a few months ago) in the first place? Well, obviously, if you listen to the project… I fell in loooove… So that is the main theme of it. It is called ‘Crush’… I really wanted to make sure that my lyrics were focused on my ladies! And making sure that we feel beautiful and empowered… I just wanted to make sure that as a lady artist, I’m doing my duty, and making all of us feel like queens!

Ravyn (before ‘Free Room): I’m from Chicago… Therefore, I was raised on house music, aka, BBQ music… And I thought I’d bring some house with me, is that ok?
