Cruising in the 1959 Chevrolet Bel Air

Went up to dad's to do yard work. Wore myself out, then went for a nice relaxing ride in the Bel Air before heading home. This was the first outing in it, in two weeks. The old 348 ran like a clock.

Take note on the neighborhood of Mc-Mansions I drive threw. That was 44 acres that I grew up playing on with all my friends. In the upper right at the end on the video, you can click on it, and see the 44 acres back in the day, at 16.33.

If you watch the whole video, you will see my "battle cruiser", a 1975 Ford Country Squire. It was fully loaded, power everything. Had a 400 2V and a C6. It had over 200,000 miles when I sold it for $250. I paid $200 for it, and drove it five winters.... it was my winter beater. You will see other rides I owned in the past, plus driving a 1938 Ford Chassis. I frame off restored a 38 Ford that year.
