Working on the 1959 Chevrolet Bel Air part 7, welding and cleaning everything up

I did get a lot of work done on the Bel Air, where the grill screen moldings go. It's basically ready to prime..... lots of sanding! Today I hope to have it in sand-able primer before the day is out. Tomorrow (25th) they're talking a winter storm going to hit us, so paint may wait until after. I find painting during storms, even in a controlled environment, paint does not cure as it should, thats why I will wait to spray it.... Plus I don't want to put the truck out in the crummy weather if I don't need to.

I did get a better fit with the hood where it closes in the front, mostly from just straightening the plate the latch mounts too. I still need to fix a tiny dent, then after hours of masking, it should be ready for primer.

The next video will show all my doing to finish up the job, then onto the rocker panels, to see what the issue are there.
