A gifted actress Milla Jovovich was welcomed in the capital of Ukraine, Kyiv, in winter of 1975. Then she moved to London with her parents and after some time they decided to settle down in the US. A future star began visiting acting, modeling and dancing classes as a child. At the age of 11 she first appeared on a cover of a fashion magazine as a model.
She debuted on a big screen in 1988 after starring in a movie called The Night Train to Kathmandu. However, what really made her an international sensation is her main role in Return to the Blue Lagoon. After it, she was immediately piled up with offers and in such a way, appeared in a number of super successful films. To name just a few: The Fifth Element, Resident Evil, Bringing up Bobby, etc.
Apart from acting and modeling, Jovovich also launched her own clothing line.

The father Bogich who is also called Bogdan immigrated to the US after England. In America, he used to do various kinds of jobs to support the family financially. For example, he worked as a housekeeper, a cook, etc. In 1998 he had an affair that resulted in the birth of a child. Also, in 1994 he participated in the health insurance fraud and was sentenced for 20 years. Nonetheless, after 5 years in prison, he was released. According to the actress, prison had a very good impact on her dad and changed him a lot in a better way. Nowadays, he works as a manager.

The mother’s name is Galina and she is a former actress. After moving to America, she tried to get at least any job that would deal with acting but unfortunately, her level of English wasn’t good enough. That’s why she found a job as a housekeeper. After the divorce with Bogich in 2000 she did her best to make enough money so that Milla could visit acting and modeling classes. After some time she became daughter’s agent.

The movie star has a paternal half-brother Marco who was born in 1988. He is a common child of Bogich and an Argentinian woman he had a short romantic affair with. Jovovich never talks about him and looks like they are not close.

As for Milla’s personal life, she was married thrice with an actor Shawn Andrews being her first spouse. In October of 1992 the actress eloped with Shawn but two months later their marriage was annulled by the celebrity’s mother.

In 1997 the movie star walked down the aisle with a worldwide known film director and producer named Luc Besson. This union lasted only two years and so, in 1999 it was over.

Since 2009 and up till present moment Milla has been happily married to a director, producer and writer Paul W.S. Anderson. These two love birds met in 2002 and within a year they got engaged. Later they broke up but reunited and soon enough had a beautiful wedding ceremony in a circle of the closest people. They are not only a loving couple but wonderful parents to three kids.

Jovovich’s firstborn is a daughter Ever, who drew her first breath in 2007. She is doing her best to build a great acting career and has already featured in several films. In addition to that, she fluently speaks three languages: Russian, English and French.

The second daughter Dashiel was delivered in 2015. In one of the interviews, the actress shared that Dashiel is a very smart girl.

In winter of 2020 a third daughter Osian became an amazing addition to the family. The celebrity announced about the birth of a child via Instagram.
