The Sun comes to Orkney

The Sun has arrived at St Magnus Cathedral.

This incredible installation is part of the Orkney International Science Festival and features thousands of NASA images of the sun, taken over a two week period, speeded up into a 12-minute sequence. You can watch storms and flares explode on the sun's surface, all in the special atmosphere of the cathedral. See it during the cathedral's normal opening hours until the 14th of September.
