A young Christian worker has reportedly been tortured to death in Pakistan. The victim, Marcus Masih, was employed at a cattle farm in the Sargodha district of Punjab province.

According to reports and statements from the family, his employers initially claimed that he had taken his own life. However, relatives say they discovered signs of torture on his body and raised concerns that he had been abused before his death.

Following protests from members of the local Christian community, police registered a murder case and opened an investigation into the incident. Authorities are now examining evidence and questioning suspects as the case continues to develop.
