Grandma Teclita give homage to Yma Sumac

Este es un estracto de un microespacio familiar denominado "El Cofrecito de la abuelita Teclita" que trataba de educar por medio de refranes, dichos y musicales de todos los tiempos y que era parte de un programa de Tv. llamado "Contacto" editado en el año 2003 con el afan de hacer conocida a Yma Sumac en las nuevas generaciones. Este video fue editado con imágenes del Inti Raymi que en quechua significa 'Fiesta del Sol', en Cusco (Perú) y con las pocas fotos que en aquel tiempo poseía de la Diva Yma Sumac.

So many singers that cultivated an andean lirical unique in America little childs, so much could compare with the europeans soprano, but us, the peruvians we were recognized in the world by Yma sumac as an exotic art and very interesting for the tourist people, and foreigner people, for this reason Yma Sumac got the triumph in United States and arrived to Hollywood, we must to thanks her directly for this favor to take the name our country for all the world".
