Android 8.1 for Nexus 7 wifi & 3G + Latest best Rom + Amazing MOD sept 2019

This tutorial is only for NEXUS 7 Wifi and 3G
Codenames Grouper and Tilapia.

To get started if you still use the original ROM
you will have to unlock the bootloader via ADB and

For those that unlocked the Bootloader and have TWRP already
good news for both models ...

A Developer by the name of NeoChapay from Innopolis , created a
Android 8.0 aosp for what he thought only the Tilapia ,
but I tested and confirm that it also works on the Grouper.

He posted his picture and link in a message on the XDA forum ,.
and never created a thread for it...such a waiste, and not even 1
video on Youtube

this hidden treassure to you.

About Android 8.0 aosp

It's not perfect or fully done yet even do it works and you could
impress your friends.. it ..
has no bootanimation don't be scared at bootup
but wifi works sound recording sound all works ,
however it don't like to sleep might stuck up only a hard reboot will help
(Vol down and Power hold for 10 seconds) but you can see how it works
and play with it maybe continue the work on it if you are a developer
or find this guy and ask him to continue , and maybe he does on some
Russian Dev site , so will be continued..
About the BEst ROM for these 2 devices we stay at Developer Andisa
and use the latest build from July together with the CAR PC Chameleon
MOD to enjoy a 2 way system , one for the Car Boat or Motor bike
and one for in the house ,...a smart way of using the right
combination of applications and device,.

Simply do a Wipe and install the ROM...
the Flash CAR PC MOD , but only after you rebooted back into TWRP
Meaning , You flash the ROM , then Hit Home in TWRP select reboot and
chose recovery , so it reboots back in TWRP . then Flash the CAR PC Chamelon MOD
Alternatively yo can also flash magisk 16 or 17 for root , I did not root yet.
