They are strongly committed to sustainable agriculture and were the first winery in California to receive biodynamic certification in 2000. In 2019, they became the first winery in the world to receive Regenerative Organic Certification (ROC). This certification is a rigorous standard that prioritizes soil health, animal welfare, and social fairness. Bonterra's ROC certification is a testament to their belief in the power of regenerative farming practices to make better wine and invest in soil health and social equity.
