Test Drive 1970 Camaro Big Block Fuel Injected SOLD Classic Car Addict
Classic Car Addict is excited to present this beautiful 1970 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 replica split bumper for sale in our Mesa, AZ showroom. That means legendary performance, paint theme, split bumper front end, and serious V8 power! This is a beautiful example of a nut and bolt restoration.
The name Z/28 will be forever linked with the Chevrolet Camaro. In reality, it was a simple three-digit, alphanumeric GM sales code for a "Special Performance Package" that was introduced in December 1966. It looked different, with sharper and more aerodynamic styling. This included split bumpers in the front with a wide grille and pointed hood, and an extreme fastback roofline with quad taillights that waved farewell as it left other cars in the dust. Even though this Camaro is not an actual Z28 it sports everything that it needs to be one plus more.
This coupe was recently repainted in Tuxedo black with white stripes, but the factory never made it look this good. The shine of the modern clearcoat gives this car a new depth that will make onlookers go WOW. From the factory, this Camaro was finished in paint 67, Classic Copper. But later in life, it had some amazing changes. The deep chin spoiler appears like it's out to clean up the streets. The wide grille in between the slender chrome side bumpers, which defines the high-performance early 2nd gen F-bodies is another fan favorite (because everyone loves a split bumper right). Balancing out the aggressive cowl hood, the spoiler carries the stripes with pride as it covers the rear end.
The interior has all the best appearance of a stock attitude. Slide into those supportive black vinyl buckets, and you're treated to one of the best interiors of the 1970’s. The gauge panel wraps around the driver like a cockpit, with a full array of factory instruments. The headliner, carpets, and door panels have all been updated. This Camaro is meant to leave you wanting for nothing, and so it has great features like new Vintage AC, Auto Meter gauges, and a custom cassette player. Radio works, wipers work, and lights work. As the driver, you get to grab the wheel with your left hand, and with your right hand, the Hurst four-speed shifter. It's ready to unleash.
If you like the black with white exterior and black interior, you're going to love what’s under the hood! The 396 cubic-inch Chevy big block V8 engine really packs a punch. But besides just looking fantastic, this motor is backed up by components such as fuel injection, power steering, power brakes and A/C. The Camaro's rearend has been powder coated and carries a POSI 10-bolt rear end. The four-wheel disc brakes, front and rear stabilizers add control in those corners. There's real power behind you while the Flo Master dual exhaust has a healthy rumble. But don't just listen to the car's roar; investigate where it comes from. With low miles due to nut and bolt restoration, you'll still want to take this Camaro out on the road thanks to great driving features such as the manual transmission, power steering, disc brakes, and American Racing rims.
Don’t let this beautiful Camaro Z28 replica slip through your fingers, call us today at 480-256-1459. This Camaro will be sold on a clean Arizona title.
