Assembling CEIBA's Frames - SAILCARGO INC.

Assembling and raising frames is one of the largest and most technical processes in traditional shipbuilding. Their large size and precise bevels, inside and out, are a unique challenge as each frame is a different shape and size. This is a brief overview of how frames are assembled and raised. Milling the timber, creating templates from the lofting floor and crafting each individual piece is a whole processes itself that will be covered in another video. For now, we want to share our progress with you as we pick up steam in our assembly!
