► Theresa May reads a letter from Captain N W G Skinner of the Royal Army Service Corp, written to his wife Gladys and their two girls two days before D-Day. Captain Skinner, 38, landed on Sword Beach on June 6 but died the following day. May had earlier welcomed 15 world leaders to the 75th anniversary event in Portsmouth.
